Our Vision

We as believers, in the body Christ, must agree that we have a vision internally as well as externally. The church is more than just coming together to share the Word of God. We as believers are coming together to form a church family.

With being a member of this church, one must be resolute in thought, that looking out and protecting, first, their fellow members, second, their surrounding communities, is essential.

We must do more than share our salvation and relationship with our Savior, we must SHOW them what that life looks like. We must take care of one another with our words and deeds.

This fellowship must be a beacon and source of information that entices people from the outside to want to come in the inside.

We must be dedicated to helping with our church resources in the area of the Foundational Four:

  • Education
  • Employment
  • Food
  • Clothing

The Bible is very clear that we must teach our brothers and sisters how to fish and to fish for life. I believe that with our Foundational Four will allow us to be a leader in our community. That outside organizations that cover the Foundational Four, will want to help with our vision, which is ultimately God’s plan for all man. We must be the voice for Him.

With that being said, here is how you can help:

Education

The Apostle Paul, went to Egypt to be educated in the understanding of the ways of Christ. He spent 3 years studying. As a result, ¾ of the New Testament was written by him. I believe that education on all fronts is key to a successful life.

KCC, will help members and non-members, in computer literacy, high school diplomas, GED’s, Associate and Bachelor degrees in addition to our own Christian education departments. We will work with our network partners at Clark County School District, Nevada Board of Education, Nevada State College, College of Southern Nevada and University Nevada Las Vegas.

Those who wish to be a part of this department, please submit your application and resume to the Pastor or Assistant Pastor.

Employment

I believe that a church cannot run without people being employed. Having the ability to earn a paycheck gives a person pride. In my experience they gain more pride when they are more gainfully employed.

We as a church must be extremely helpful with the apprehension of jobs for our members and non-members. This will allow us to grow our membership and increase our visibility as leader in our community.

KCC, will be a conduit between Department of Education, Rehabilitation & Training, Job Connect, while adding others as we prosper.

If you have a desire to work in this department, please submit an application and resume to the Pastor or Assistant Pastor.

Clothing

Having our Sunday Best on shouldn’t be just for those who can buy it. We want to be able to provide quality clothes at a very low price, FREE! We want to be able to give shoes, personal garments and quality clothes for work, school and church. We will not judge folks for not wearing what we take for granted, rather we want to judge them on how better they looked since they came to KCC.

We will work with clothiers like Marshall Retail Group, Targets, Dillard’s, Macy’s, to name a few. We will convince them that giving to our church is in their best interest.

If you believe you can help secure quality products to serve our members and the community, please submit an application and resume to the Pastor or Assistant Pastor.

Food

This goes without saying, that our church should be one of many organizations that provide food to our members and beyond. We will be working with Four Square and others to provide the proper nutrients for families. When people know that KCC cares about their nutritional needs, they will want to be fed spiritually as well. Let’s bait them with love and real them in with the help of the Lord!!

If you believe you can help with this endeavor, please submit an application and resume to the Pastor or Assistant Pastor.

Closing

Kinship Community Church will be a light in the darkness of social and spiritual despair. We will let people know the essentials in life, in addition to their spiritual needs, will be met.

We are more than just a body of believers; we are a family. As Pastor of this church, it is my job to make sure that we follow the principle of what Christians must do in the 21st century.

Love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

This is the church where EVERYBODY is SOMEBODY and NOBODY is a stranger, YOU BELONG HERE!!!
