Pastor M.J. Ivy
Marlin J. Ivy was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Deacon Jacob and Barbara Ivy.
He was raised in St. Louis under the leadership of Bishop’s P.L. & Alphonso Scott of the Lively Stone Church of God.
Ivy is an ordained Elder through the Church of God In Christ.
Elder Ivy has taught new members class, served as Minister over the Music Department, armor bearer and security officer.
He has lead, organized and encouraged volunteers to give of their time while preaching the word of God and the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who need salvation. Pastor Ivy has been a minister of the gospel since 2000 and has preached the gospel all over the nation and parts of the world.
Ivy has a B.A. Degree in Communication Studies from Lindenwood University and a Masters Degree in Urban Leadership from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Public Policy & Leadership.
Pastor Ivy is a veteran of the U. S. Air Force having served in the first Gulf War during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Ivy held the rank of Senior Airman and was a Logistics and Public Affairs Specialist while serving as an Honor Guard.
He is the Founder & Chief Excitement Officer of Ivy’s Communications Group
